Event Organizers, Sponsors, Users, and Customers, please read out the payout policy carefully.

Momentza is required by law to collect taxes and fees for the services we provide. Momentza collects taxes on the ticket sales and service charges for events in some jurisdictions. The organizers are ultimately responsible for calculating the taxes for the total number of tickets sell thru our website and the total amount collected from the event. The sales taxes for tickets and other government fees depends on the area where events are happening, and please consult a tax professional if organizers are not sure what are your tax obligations for the events conducted. Please be advised that momentza LLC is not responsible for any taxes on ticket sales or any other governmental/entertainment fees or taxes related to the events conducted in the jurisdiction other listed in our website.  

For those conducting the events in Chicago, please note that you will see up to 12% tax (Chicago and Cook County amusement tax) for the total amount charged to the attendee for an individual ticket. For events in cook county but outside of Chicago, you will see up to 3% tax (cook county amusement tax) for the total amount charged to the attendee for an individual ticket.

While creating the event using our tool, event organizers can decide if the taxes and services charge have to collect from the customers or event organizers.

Momentza LLC will send the payout after seven days of completing the event, and if the payout falls on a weekend or holiday, the payout will start processing on the next business day. The event organizers are responsible for adding the correct payout method while registering for the online account to sell the tickets. Before processing payout, the momentza will check the tax forms uploaded to verify the identity of the momentza online account holder. The names must match in the momentza's online account, bank account, and tax forms. Without adding a proper payout method and accurate tax forms, momentza will not start be able start processing the payouts, which may delay the process. If the organization or company has tax-exempt forms, please upload it for verification while uploading the tax forms.

Please note Momentza will deduct the service charge from the total payout depending on the agreement between momentza and the event organizer. The bank’s transcation policies and location determines how long it takes to show the payout in the payout account. Once we send out the payout, your bank is responsible for accepting the payout and adding it to your bank account. Usually, after sending out a payout, it takes 7 to 10 business days to show in payouit account, and momentza is not responsible for any delays from our bank or payout accepting bank. Finally, we will send the payout to the bank account that the event organizer entered while creating the momentza online account. Momentza is not responsible if the event organizers enters the wrong account details as a payout method in the payout section of the momentza online account.
